The Mother’s International School (MIS), New Delhi is sited on the calm, serene campus of Sri Aurobindo Ashram on Sri Aurobindo Marg. It was established in 1956 by founder Surendra Nath Jauhar with the blessings of The Mother Mirra Alfassa, the spiritual partner and collaborator of Sri Aurobindo. The school started with just 15 students and it now boasts a student strength of around 2500 studying in its pre primary, primary, secondary and senior secondary classes. It is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers classes from pre-primary to senior secondary.
