OBJECTIVE BASED LEARNING
Clear goals, with actionable steps and quantifiable outcomes, are vital to academic success. Objective-Based Learning means creating academic plans driven by setting and attaining goals tied to knowledge, skills and ability to perform amongst the students on completion of learning process. The set standards of performance are challenging yet realistic and achievable.
The learning material and instructions are designed keeping in mind the wide range approaches to suit the different learning pace of different students.
EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
Experiential Learning is where theory meets action. Attaining core literacy skills is essential but so is the application of these skills. Experiential learning opportunities help in developing student’s skills both in and out of the classroom. It is an engaged learning process whereby students “learn by doing” and by reflecting on the experience. Experiential learning activities can include, but are not limited to, hands-on laboratory experiments, practicums, field exercises, and studio performances.
RESEARCH-BASED TEACHING
Research-Based Teaching means that students carry out research in their courses independently. Students attain abilities in dealing with uncertainty, independence and teamwork skills.
SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING
Social and Emotional Learning provides a foundation for safe and positive learning, and enhances students’ ability to succeed in school, careers, and life. It’s the skill set we use to cope with feelings, set goals, make decisions, and feel empathy for others.
